Howard E, Copithorne, 42, of 210
Summer st, Somerville, who served
overseas in the World War with the
301st Field Signal Battalion. U. S. A.,
died yesterday at the Chelsea Naval
Hospital. He was born in Somer-
ville and was a member of the John
Abbot Lodge, A. F. and A. M., and
the First Methodist Church.
He leaves a wife, Frances (Foley),
and a daughter Nancy Ann, 10, four
brothers; Arthur, Chester I., George
A., and Clarence A., all of Somer-
ville. and a sister, Mrs. Stephen
Smith of New Haven. The funeral
will be from the David Fudge
Chapel, 100 Highland av., Somer-
ville, Thursday efternoon at 1
o'clock.
