A native of Scipio, he was a lifelong resident of that section before coming to live with his daughter nine years ago. He was postmaster, station agent and tax collector at Venice Center, retiring when he came to Syracuse.
Besides his daughter, he is survived by one grandson, Walter R. Coddington of Andes, and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Cornell, Clement and Greenleaf will take the body to Venice on Sunday. Funeral services will be held there in the Baptist Church at 2:30 P.M. The Rev. Dr. Edwin T. Dahlberg will officiate. Burial will be in Venice.

The funeral service for Mr. George Crawfoot was held Sunday, May 11, 1941 in the Venice Baptist Church of which he held the office of deacon for many years. Mr. Crawfoot was a former resident of Venice Center, and held offices as Postmaster and Tax Collector in this vicinity. He has been residing in Syracuse with his daughter, Alice Louise Crawfoot Coddington, for the past nine years.
