Arena F. Lewis, 93, passed away on November 26th, in Yerington. She was born in Bodie, CA on October 7, 1917 and grew up in Bodie and in Bridgeport and Lee Vining, California. She married Warren Lewis on April 15, 1939 in Reno. They spent many years on the East Walker Ranches where they worked and raised their family. In 1963 she and her husband moved to Yerington and she continued being the center of the family and also enjoying her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Annett Crow and Arlene Fredrickson; her son, Walter Lewis of; her 9 grandchildren. Arena's funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday, December 6th, at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington. Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery.
