Andrew Thomas (went by Tom) Rothrock was the ninth of ten known children of the Rev. John Madison Rothrock (1841-1929) and Elizabeth Rebecca Fry Rothrock (1840-1918), who married 28 May 1861 at Forsyth County, North Carolina.
Tom married Annie Viola Scales (1890-1970) on 02 Dec 1908 at Walnut Cove, Stokes County, North Carolina. Tom and Annie were the parents of three known children, namely:
1. Thomas Hardy Rothrock (1912-1988)
2. Thelma Louise Rothrock Jeffreys Dawson (1913-2012)
3. Dorothy Scales Rothrock Powe (1916-1970)
After Tom died, Annie remarried to a Mr. Davis.
