Gale, Norman Eugene, age 66 of Quartz Hill, passed away January 1, 1989. Mr. Gale, a native of Indianapolis, IN, had been an instructor and teacher of 27 years for Cerritos Colege in Norwalk, from 1967 to 1975, and Downey HS from 1959-1978, and was a substitute teacher at AV High School. The Gales came to California from Indiana in 1952 and to the Antelope Valley in 1980 from Downey. He was a member of the Calif. Teacher's Assoc. and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. An avid health enthusiast, Mr. Gale was a member of the Palmdale Fitness Club. He was a quiet and dignified man. Mr. Gale is survived by his son Norman J. Gale of Quartz Hill, and Mr. Gale's sister of Hollywood, FL. Friends may call at Murphy Mortuary Chapel Thursday evening, from 6 to 8PM. Chapel services will be held on Friday at 10AM with Reverend Dave Prather of Central Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow at Lancaster Cemetery.
