Tilley, Claude W. age 68 years, in Lancaster May 31,1988. A native of Frankfort, Kansas, Mr. Tilley had lived in the Antelope Valley 31 years and was a sheet metal worker of 25 years at Edwards Air Force Base and a member of VFW Post No. 9657 of Rosamond. He is survived by his wife, Edna, of Lancaster; daughters Caryl Sturgeion of Palmdale, and Louise Smitherman of Stockton; a son, Daryl, of Lake Tahoe; six grandchildren, Steven, Jon, Daniel Aaron, Lisa and Sarah; two great-grandsons, Christoper and Andy; also survived by a brother, Wayne, of Portland, Ore. and sisters Maude Rogers of El Monte, Margaret Lezon of Doland Springs, Ariz., and Doris Hoffert, of Portland, Ore. Chapel services will be held 10AM Thursday, June 2, 1988 at Murphy Mortuary with interment to follow in Lancaster Cemetery.
