RUBY BEASLEY

Ruby F. Beasley, 71, will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at West Funeral Home chapel with Jerry L. Roberts of Sunset Church of Christ officiating.

Mrs. Beasley died in a local hospital Saturday.

Burial will be in Carlsbad Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Carl Haas, Alfred Haas, Charles Gamble, A.G. McGonagill, M.I. Fanning and Raymond Natherlin.

Mrs. Beasley was born in Anadarko, Indian Territory, Okla., and was raised in Oklahoma. She moved to Roswell in 1937 and lived there two years before moving to Carlsbad. She was also a housemother for the New Mexico School for the Visually Handicapped in Alamogordo for four years and after retirement returned to Carlsbad.

She was a member of Sunset Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, H.W. Beasley, Carlsbad, and Melvin Beasley, Alamogordo; two daughters, Anita Angell, Roswell, and Melba Humphrey, Houston, Tex.; four brothers, Harvey Gadbury, Roswell, Walter Gadbury, Booneville, Ark., Roy Gadbury, Porterville, Calif., and Harold Gadbury, Visalia, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. E.P. Brown, Mansville, Okla.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
