Born at Ft. Belvoir, Va., on October 23, 1952. Debbie changed the lives of her parents Sgt Clayton R. Thompson, Sr., and Carolyn (Craven) Thompson, in a big way! She made her presence know and soon had them wrapped around her little finger. As an Army dependent she lived in and saw many places. But Palmdale became home as a teenager and she never wanted to be anyplace else. After Palmdale High she went to work in banking, first at B of A and then settled in at Antelope Valley Bank where her co-workers and customers became her second family. She loved and appreciated them and it has become apparent to us that the feelings were mutual. We are grateful for the kindness and care shown by them over the years, and especially during her
illness. Debbie joined the angels, her parents and two brothers, Robert L. Thompson and Clayton R. Thompson, Jr., on Dec 9, 2010. She is survived by a sister, Terry Mitchell and family of Reno, Nev., and a brother, Donald C. Thompson of Palmdale, who was indspensable this year. Services will be held at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010, with a vigil
from 5 to 8 p.m., at Halley- Olsen- Murphy, Palmdale, Calif.
Graveside will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at Desert Lawn Memorial park.
