Edgar Hill, 54, of Washington, R.D.6, who resided near the water company pump station, died suddenly at 8:55 p.m. Thursday, Jan 10, 1946, due to a heart ailment.
Mr. Hill was born Dec 21, 1891, in Washington County, and spent his entire life in the county. He worked in the oil fields as a driller and tool dresser.
Surviving are his wife, Jeannetta Buchanan Hill; one son, Pfc. Edward Wayne Hill, in the Anti-Aircraft Service in the South Pacific, and the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Wallace Ritchie, Mr. Lebanon; Miss Mabel M. Hill, New York City; Huber B. Hill, Hickory R.D.1; U. Grant Hill, Bentleyville.
