Berlan C. Carrico of Olathe died Monday at Montrose Memorial Hospital. He was 73.
Mr. Carrico was a retired farmer and had lived in Olathe since 1930. He was born May 29,1911, at Comers Rock, VA., to John Riley and Maude Boyer Carrico. They moved to Delta in 1924 and he spent his childhood and attended schools in Delta and Olathe.
He married Beulah Anders May 6, 1936, on California Mesa. Mrs Carrico survives.
He attended the Assembly of God Church of Olathe. Mr Carrico enjoyed fishing and traveling.
Other survivors include two sons, Calvin R. Carrico and Larry S. Carrico of Olathe; and six grandchildren. Two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Olathe Baptist Church with the Rev. Russell Tyler officiating. Burial will follow in the Olathe Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in his name to the Olathe Assembly of God Church 81425.
