Ms. Cleva Hurst died December 14, 2010. She had suffered from dementia for many years. Ms. Hurst was 95 years, 2 months, and 4 days old. She was the daughter of the late Dow and Lou (Orrell) Buck. She lived in the Sunshine Community of Arkansas and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Ms. Hurst was a food service employee for the Hot Springs and Lake Hamilton School districts. She loved to cook and raise flowers.

Ms. Hurst was preceded in death by her parents; her 1st husband: Enoch Weston; her 2nd husband: Alen Hurst; 5 brothers: Hurl, Clyde, Elzie, Hurfus and Orel Buck; 4 sisters: Irene Norman, Tressie Skrove, Leona Weston and Olene Tackett.

She is survived by a son, Arduth Weston (Nina), a daughter, Sandra Vickers (Richard); granddaughters: Becky Wilson (Clay), Cindy Carpenter (Pete); 4 great-grandchildren: Justin Miller (Amy), Amylyn Karm (Kevin), Kirby Carpenter (fiancé Brett), Taylor Carpenter and 5 great-great-grandchildren: Jaxon, Gavin & Olivia Karm and Noah Miller and Kylie Mosely all of Hot Springs; four step-children, Janet McGreger (George) of Booneville, MS; Susan Chiasson of Tallahassee, FL; Ralph Hurst (Betty) of Goodlettsville, TN and Ray Hurst (Judy) of Nashville, TN; 10 step-grandchildren: Karen Hatfield (Mark) of Booneville, MS, Mark McGreger (Amy) Titusville, FL; Ric McGreger of Houlka, MS, Matt Chiasson (Melissa) Overland Park, KS, Rebecca Davenport (Brent) of Nashville, TN, Daniel Hurst of Goodlettsville, TN, Doug Hurst and Brad Hurst of Nashville, TN, Letitia Lankford of Ocean Springs, MS, Travis (Brenda) Lankford of Hot Springs Village, AR, 11 step-great-grandchildren – J.J. Hatfield, Blake Hatfield, Gracie McGreger, Raena McGreger, Davis McGreger, Emily Chiasson, Natalie Davenport, Jessica Shea Baker and Shelby Baker, Jacob Lankford and Zachary Lankford and step-great-great grandchild: Joee Crawley; 1 sister: Marjorie Sabine of Royal, AR; two brothers: C.L. Buck and Murl Buck (Belinda) of Houston, TX and Bobbie Buck of Cypress, TX and many nephews and nieces; and many dear friends.

Service was held on Friday, December 17, 2010, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Dr. Bill Harris, officiated the services. She was laid to rest at Peak Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Justin Miller, Pete Carpenter, Clay Wilson, Kevin Karm, Sheldon Buck and Brett Calcagno.
Honorary pallbearers were: the wonderful caregivers, Lessie Thurlo, Gale Coffman and Jamie Martin. They had a group of special friends and helpers that made up a support group, Chad Cole, Mandy Cole, Natalie West, Marcus and Cathy Hunt, Carl Hunt and John Thurlo.
