CLARKS, La., March 15. — (Special) — Mrs. Augusta Kraft, 75, succumbed to an attack of heart disease at the home of a daughter, Mrs. W. B. Perkins. The funeral was held at the Baptist church here, Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Paul Jones, pastor, officiating. Interment was made in the Welcome Home cemetery.

Mrs. Kraft and a girl friend in their early youth emigrated from Germany to Dallas, Tex. In 1891 she was married to Louis Kraft and they remained in Texas until 1928, when they removed to Clarks.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Lena Smith, Levelland, Tex.; Mrs. Lula Matney, Vernon, Tex.; Mrs. Ford Massey, Sulphur Springs, Tex.; Mrs. Jullia [sic Julia] Bennett, Dike, Tex., and Mrs. W. B. Perkins, Clarks, and three sons, Robert Kraft, Winnfield, Paul Kraft, Clarks, and Walter Kraft, Sulphur Springs, Tex.; two stepsons, W. J. Kraft, DeRidder and E. L. Kraft, Clarks, besides numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, also one sister, Mrs. Minnie Mansar, Denton, Tex.
