"On the 13th inst. of bilious fever, Mrs. P.E. Brooks, consort of Eld.L. Brooks of Jasper County and dau. of Maj. I.T. Irvin of Wilkes, in her 21st year. Had been twice marrried. Leaves three children --son now four years old, by the first marriage, and two daus, by her surviving husband. The elder two years old and the younger about 3 months old. Was member of the Baptist Church prior to her last marriage."
Iverson Lewis Brooks and Prudence had two children Louisa 31 Oct 1828 and Martha 03 Apr 1830
Prudence died 22 July 1830. Martha and Louisa were raised by Isabella and Isaiah Tucker Irvin along with the children of Peter Strozier married to a Bankston/Henderson niece, Sallie. Delphy.
