Henriette married Berend Anton Tieken in Prussia around 1862. She and Anton immigrated to America in 1874 and settled near Warrenton, Fayette county. Their first 4 children were born in Prussia and the last child, Henriette Emma in Fayette county Texas. Sometime after arriving in Warrenton, Anton purchase a 100 acre tract of land in the J.G. Wilkinson league. Anton died sometime after 1880 and before 1888. His grave has been lost, but he is believed to be buried in the Waldeck Cemetery in Fayette County, TX.
Henriette married Diedrich Ahlrich 16 Oct 1888. They did not have any children. Her daughter, Henriette, married Diedrich's son, Frederich, 30 Oct 1894.
Henriette died at the home of her daughter Johanna and her husband, Hermann Dornbusch. Their home was 4 miles north of La Grange on Old Plum Road. It is very near the location of Mount Calvary Lutheran Cemetery.
