Clarissa Jane Sessions, born 31 January 1831 at Lapeer, New York to Nancy Price Sessions was an allied member of John and Betty More's Edward line. She was raised by her mother at Lapeer where her brother was a farmer. Clarissa married to George Frisbee More on 10 January 1853 at Lapeer. They made their permanent home at Marathon, New York where her husband was a prominent farmer. He died in 1872 and Clarissa forever after resided in the household of her daughter Isabelle whose husband was a blacksmith. They relocated to Syracuse, New York some time after 1880 and to Cortlandville, New York some time after 1885. Clarissa died 30 October 1891 at Cortland, New York and was buried with her husband at Marathon Cemetery. George and Clarissa were the parents of five children; Frank H. More, Charles Husted More, Fred D. More, Isabel Thornton More, and Florence More.
