Amelia C. Larson, 85, of 3901 South Marian Road, died Feb. 16 at home.
For more than 25 years she was a hospital volunteer for the American Red Cross, serving one day a week.
Born in Kansas City, Mo., she had lived in Springfield, Mass., and then Longmeadow, Mass., where she was a member of the First Church of Christ. She moved to Sioux Falls in 1982, and was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church there.
Her husband, Paul C. Larson, died in 1977. She leaves two sons, Richard H. of Reston, Va., and Robert P. of Sioux Falls, S.D.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Emma Carter.
Funeral services will take place on the afternoon of Feb. 25 in Evangelical Covenant Church, Springfield, with burial in Longmeadow Cemetery . There are no calling hours. George Boom Funeral Home is in charge.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons or the Evangelical Covenant Church.
