Clarence was the son of Samuel S. & Lucinda VanSkyock Brenner. He married Addie, the daughter of David & Sophia Kennard Hellyer, on April 7, 1906 in Jay County, Indiana. They were the parents of George, Treko, Harold and Mary Brenner. The couple's marriage ended in divorce.
He married Vella, the daughter of James & Mary Evelyn Wood Stoner, on March 11, 1918, in Newport, Kentucky. After their marriage, the couple lived in Albany and Muncie, Indiana. They were the parents of Madeline Rose, Oral and Evelyn June Brenner. Mr. Brenner was an employee of Feeney Mfg. Co. and retired from that company. He passed away, at the Delaware County Infirmary, from the effects of acute myocardial failure.
