Richard Cable, 90, of Campbellsville, Ky., died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, in Campbellsville.
He was born Oct. 7, 1917 in Watauga County, N.C. a son of the late Peter E. Cable and Lela Johnson Cable.
Mr. Cable was a member of Elkhorn Baptist Church. He was retired from Campbellsville Laundry and was a former employee of Chappell's Dairy and was a farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Leona Cable; one son, Jimmie Cable of Campbellsville; three granddaughters; Gina Weber of Wagener, S.C., Libby Wright of Nicholasville, and Misty Hughes of Bowling Green; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Floy Miller of Chattanooga, Tenn.
Burial was in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
