The death of Miss Mary M. Noell, aged 55, occurred at Fraddam, Hale, last week. She leaves a mother, sister, and brother. She held prominent offices in Deveral Methodist Church and Sunday-school, where she rendered much devoted service. For many years she trained the Sunday-school scholars for the anniversary services. She had almost a lifetime connection with Leedstown Council School, where she was a certificated assistant teacher for over 32 years. The funeral took place on Friday at Gwinear Parish Church, the Rev. H. Benaton officiating, assisted by the Rev. C.A. Amey, Hayle.
