Mr. Jesse L. Watkins, 65, widower of Mrs. Maude Miner Watkins, of 2063 Broad Street, Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, January 31, 1956, at his residence following a two week illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Sons Chapel with the Rev. J. Glover Morris officiating. Interment will be in the West View Cemetery. Mr. Watkins was an employee of the Richmond County Board of Health. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Rudolph Ammann Jr. of Augusta; one sister, Mrs. B.A. Burgamy of Augusta; two brothers, Gordon Watkins and W.C. Watkins, both of Augusta, and a number of nieces and nephews.
