Alma Ruth Beall, 82, a native of Slaton, Texas and a resident of Daphne, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007. She and her husband, O. E. "Sam" Beall, founded B & B Industrial Supply Co. in 1959. She was a charter member of the Spanish Fort United Methodist Church and their first choir director. She was a member of the Spanish Fort Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. As well as being the Grand Organist for the State of Alabama, she was Worthy Grand Matron of the Spanish Fort Chapter. She was preceded in death by her husband, O. E. "Sam" Beall; infant son, William Dwight Beall; parents, Ervin Sylvester and Roberta Dell Richards; sister, June Skinner. Survivors include a daughter, D'Anne Beall Hardin of Fort Worth, Texas; two sons, Richard (Glenda) Beall of Daphne and Dwayne (Diane) Beall of Daphne; two sisters, Ann (Marvin) Oliver of Hot Springs, Ark., and Mary (R.L.) Lott of Killeen, Texas; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 29 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home. Interment followed in Memory Gardens of Fairhope. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Piano Fund of Spanish Fort United Methodist church, 6530 Spanish Fort Blvd., Suite D., Spanish Fort, AL 36527. Arrangements were made by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
