Vivian Roueche Brincefield

SALISBURY - Vivian Roueche Brincefield, 84, of Salisbury, died Thursday, April 30, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center.

Born July 8, 1924, in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Henry Bernard and Effie Mae Morton Roueche.

She was educated at Sacred Heart School and graduated from Boyden High School and Salisbury School of Business.

Mrs. Brincefield was a homemaker, a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Coleman Brincefield, on July 25, 2008; a son, Timothy Brincefield; her sisters, Martha Foster, Christine Murphy, Mary Alma Hoffman; and brothers Fred Roueche, Paul Roueche, Dave Roueche, Bernard Roueche, Jr., and Joe Roueche.

She is survived by her sons, Bill Brincefield, Jr. (Lydia) of Charlotte, John Brincefield (Cris), Mike Brincefield (Shelly), Joe Brincefield (Yvonne), Mark Brincefield (Susan), Ed Brincefield, Jim Brincefield (Kaloni), all of Salisbury; grandchildren Andy Brincefield (Dana), Neal Brincefield (Sarah), all of Charlotte, Sallie Brincefield of Charleston, S.C., Joel Brincefield (Amy), Josh Brincefield (Meredith), Stephanie Brincefield, Jennifer Brincefield, Jordan Brincefield, Aaron, Zach and Sara Brincefield, all of Salisbury, Robert Lamble, IV of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Liza Phillips (Mike) of Columbia, S.C.; great-grandchildren Abby, Emma, Kaitlyn and Bo Brincefield, Doran Lamble, and two expected great-grandchildren; and brother Bob Roueche and wife Margueretta of South Carolina.

Service: Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 5 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. John Putnam, the Rev. Thomas P. Clements and the Rev. James Ebright officiating. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Prayer and Visitation: A Prayer Service will be held 6:30 p.m. Monday at Summersett Funeral Home; and the family will receive friends following the Prayer Service until 8:30 p.m.
