Lois I. Leaton, of Hot Springs, passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, at the age of 92.
She was born March 13, 1918, in Pearcy, Arkansas, and was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillian Hobby Dalton; her husband, Raymond Leaton; and one brother, Cecil Dalton.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Gerald and Beverly Leaton of Pearcy, Ark., and Carthil M. "Corky" and Donna Leaton, of Chandler, Texas; one nephew, Olen Dalton, of Hot Springs; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Hot Springs Funeral Home.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday in the Hot Springs Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Jess Gideon officiating. Musical selections will be sung by Brent Roach and Carolyn Rowland. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in the Sunshine Community following the services.
Pallbearers will be David Leaton, Jeff Sheets, Britt W. Smith, Britt T. Smith, Austin Leaton and Charlie Oseguera. Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Quapaw Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Special thoughts go out to her friends and neighbors, with special thanks to Ms. Cecile Small and David and Vonda Hartshorne.
