Tommy Brashear, 6 Dies in Galveston

Death again visits the Gary Brashear family last week. Tommy Brashear, 6, son of Mr. and Mrs. Brashear died in a Galveston hospital at 6:13 o'clock, March 28. He had been ill about a month.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning from the First Baptist church. The Rev C. E. Bullock assisted by the Rev. William D. Brooks, pastor of the Assembly of God church, Madisonville, officiated.
Davis Cozart was in charge of funeral arrangements.
Survivors are the parents and a brother, James Gary, of Houston.
Pallbearers were Milton Martin, Percy Westmoreland, T. F. Hill and M. L. Bennett, Jr.
Interment was made in Hopewell Cemetery.
Another son Billy Brashear, died a marine hero's death when he gave his life for his country in the European theater in World War II.
