Wife of Rev. Dr. William Hooker Smith, Presbyterian minister and surgeon in the Revolutionary War, son of Rev. John Smith & Mehitable Hooker.
Sarah died of illness just weeks before the Battle of Wyoming and was buried inside Forty Fort.
