Services for Linda Marie Cannon , 68, of Canton, TX, are scheduled for 1:00 PM Tuesday November 23, 2010 at Eubank Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Brown officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.
Burial will be in Beck's Chapel Cemetery, Henderson Co.
She passed away November 20, 2010 in Canton, TX.
Mrs. Cannon was born August 5, 1942 in Lewisville, TX, to James Archie and Clella Viola (Melton) Currie.
Linda was one of the founding members of Grace Family Church of Canton and presently a member of Christ Fellowship Church. She attended school in Irving and raised her family in Garland. She has lived in many states throughout the United States and settled in Canton in 1998 where she has lived ever since.
Surviving are Husband, Derl Thomas Cannon of Canton, Son, Glenn & Darlene Hess of Longview, Daughter, Donna & Mike Burleson of Garland, Son, James David Hess of Kilgore, 15 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.
Linda was preceded in death by Father, James Archie Currie, Mother, Clella Viola Melton Currie, Sister, Lydia Mae Foster, Brother, Charles Currie, Sister, Ammye Dale Staton, and Sister, Louise Bruce.
Pallbearers are Glenn Hess, David Hess, Ryan Hess, Taylor Hess, Nick Burleson, George Shields, and Matt Dipzinski.
Family will receive friends Monday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
