Gladys (Audrey) Vicknair Maurin on Friday 22 Apr 2005 at 5:20 AM at age 74 years. She was a native of Reserve, Louisiana, and a resident of Laplace, Louisiana for the past 52 years. she was the wife of the late John Dan (Sam Spade) Maurin and mother of J D and Gregory Maurin and Linda M Stein. Also survived by 9 grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Pierre and Eleanor Jacob Vicknair and the sister of Peter Vicknair, Mary Helen Scioneaux, and the late Donald, Harry, Frey and Robert Vicknair and Corrine Weber. Services were Wednesday 27 Apr 2005 at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Laplace, with interment in St Peter Cemetery, Reserve.
