Funeral services fro Erma Virgie Gibson, 86, of Jewett were held January 4 at the Willowhole Chapel in North Zulch. Rev. Walter U. Van Sickles officiated the services. Interment followed in the Willowhole Cemetery.

Mrs. Gibson was born April 11, 1903 in North Zulch and passed away January 1.

She was a homemaker and was a member of the Baptist Church.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Pearl Capps of Apple Valley, Calif., 1 son, Joe Edd Gibson of Marquez; 4 sisters, Mabel Sue Longer of Jewett, Lena Oakes, Artie Young and Mildred Jordan all of Houston; 3 brothers, Kermit Bryant, and Johnny Bryant both of Edna and Wiley Bryant of Pasadena; 15 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jerry Gibson, Richard Elliott, Frank Longer, Wayne Longer and Norman Gibson.

Madisonville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
