Mrs. Arthur King, a resident of Throckmorton County since 1883 and a member of one of the pioneer families of Throckmorton County died following a long illness.
Mrs. King was a member of the First Baptist Church in Throckmorton where services are held.
Survived by two sisters - Mrs. Eula Stewart and Mrs. Myrtle Crites; two brothers - Hill Allen and Frank Allen.
Judge and Mrs. King at one time owned the old Walter Siddens place in the Richland Community of Baylor County.
