Union, Jan 6. - Mrs Bowyer, widow of the late William Bowyer, died at her home in Wolf Creek district, this county, on Friday morning last, Dec 29, aged about 74 years. She was a native of Fayette county and before marriage was a Miss Schuck. Her husband preceded her to the grave nearly two years ago. She is survived by nine children - Messrs Philip H, Wm and Ernest Bowyer, Mrs A B Carter and Mrs G W Lemons, all of this county; Messrs Sherman and George Bowyer of Fayette county; Mrs Anderson of Maplewood, Fayette county, and another married daughter living in Ohio. The funeral services took place last Sunday at Mt Pleasant church, Sinks Grove, Rev Robt B Hudson officiating.
