Fayetteville, GA native served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a retired salesman. He was precede in death by three brothers, Frank, Buford and Billie Farr a sister Mary Lee Padgett and a daughter, Penny Ruth Seymour.

Surviors include sons James and Danny both of Pulaski and Bill Farr of Goodspring a daughter Ann Wagoner of Pulaski a brother Ronald of Flordia, sisters Dot Pritchard, Becky Mayfield and Betty Jean Carnes all of Georgia. 14 Grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

John was my great uncle. His brother Franklin L Farr was my grandfather.
