"Richard S. Alton, 82, and husband of Grace L. Gruber Alton, 930 Willow St., Stevens Towers, died Sunday in the Lebanon VA Hospital.
Born in Greensburg, he was the son of the late Charles H. and Reina Belle Alton. He was a retired employee of the Armstrong Floor Co. and was a member of the Lebanon American Legion.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children: Marion Chambers, Levanna Rissinger, Patricia Sensendefer, and William Alton, all of Lancaster; a stepdaughter, Mary Kirchner, also of Lancaster; and a number of grandchildren."
