Loretta E. Brockway-Clinton, 93, of 2220 State St. died at 4:50 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2003, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.
Born Feb. 23, 1910, in Princeville to Frank W. and Hannah A. Nix Christian, she married Eugene Brockway in 1934 in Princeville.
She later married Harold Clinton in 1952 in Lincoln. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death one infant daughter, Shirley Brockway .
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth (and Vicky) Brockway of Blackshier, Ga., and Gerald ''Jerry'' (and Carol) Brockway of Mapleton; one daughter, Patricia (and Kenneth) Meier of Oreana; 11 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She worked as a clerk at Kmart for many years.
She was a member of St. Clements Church in Dunlap.
Cremation has been accorded. Burial of ashes will be in St. Clements Church Cemetery in Dunlap at a later date. Wilton Mortuary in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
