Graveside services for Blanch Hennig Cooper, 79, of Fort Worth, former Olney resident, were held Wednesday, Nov. 7, in Restland Cemetery with the Rev. Matt Hall, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cooper was born Oct. 16, 1922, in Megargle to the late Jess and Dollie(Faver)Henning. She died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, in a Fort Worth Hospital.
She and D.J. Cooper were married June 18, 1946, in Graham. He preceded her in death September 23, 1978. She lived in Olney most of her life, moving to Fort Worth in 1998.
She was employed with Olney Rexall Drug for 55 years. She was a member of First Methodist Church in Olney.
Survivors include one daughter, Dedie Branch and her husband Wayne, of Fort Worth; two sisters, Freddie Cooper and Elouise Baker, both of Fort Worth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Lung Association, 7616 LBJ Freeway, Suite #100, Dallas, TX 76251-1182 or the American Heart Association, 110 Chaparral, Olney, TX 76374.
