DALLAS - Ed Crow, 69, died of complications from a stroke on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001, in Dallas.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday at Ellis Chapel of Park Cities Baptist Church. Dr. Gene Garrison will officiate. Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Keith Crow, Bobby Rolston, Randy Anderson, Neal Prevost, Bob Rulmyer, Ashton Anderson, Daniel Carroll, Rachel Carroll, and Lauren Anderson.

Ed Crow was born May 30, 1932, in Weatherford. He grew up in Fort Worth and was a graduate of Polytechnic High School. He graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in 1954, and from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1958, with a bachelor of divinity degree. He pastored churches in Fort Worth, Cisco, Brownfield, and Tucson, Ariz. In 1965, he was selected to appear in the 1965 edition of Outstanding Young Men of America, in recognition of his outstanding ability, accomplishments and service to his community, country and profession. In 1970, he was awarded an honorary doctor of divinity degree from Hardin-Simmons University. In 1975, he founded Gold Label Publications, which provides inspirational writings and resource materials for use in homily preparation. He has subscribers to his material from every state in the U.S. and more than 15 other countries. Ed was a member of Park Cities Baptist Church and taught the Pathfinders Class for 15 years.
He was one of four children born to Pearl and Felix Crow, who preceded him in death.
Survivors: He was the beloved husband of Gene for 22 years; children, Judy Rulmyer and her husband, Bob, Kim Anderson and her husband, Randy, Keith Crow and his wife, Tina, Suzanne Rolston and her husband, Bobby, Julie Durbin and Lea Anne Prevost and her husband, Neal; sisters, Royce Chapman and husband, Jim, and Cindy Kerby and her husband, Jim; brother, Bryan Crow and his wife, Wanda.
