Elworth was born on August 10, 1853 to Moses Aldrich Daniels and Julia Ann Partridge who lived on Blackstone Street in Blackstone, MA, between Elm Street and the Mendon-Blackstone town line on the easterly side of Blackstone St. Elworth married Mary Alice Preston on October 22, 1885. They lived at 7 Spring Lane (now Spring Street)in Woonsocket, RI, before moving to Northborough, MA, where Elworth ran a store in the center of the Town Hall building during World War I. Elworth died on November 20, 1925. His wife, Mary Alice, first moved to Somerville to live with their son, Lester Daniels. After Lester died in July 1941, Mary Alice moved to George Street, Mendon, MA, to be near her daughter-in-law and grand-daughter. There, she died on April 14, 1942 shortly after her great-grandson, Norman Cox was born.
