Dr. Rudolph J. Heyde, 70, well known Waycross veterinarian died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, while on a professional call in Hoboken (Georgia).
He had practiced veterinary for the past 31 years. At one time he served as county agent for Ware County. He was a graduate of the Chicago Veterinary College and of the Toronto, Canada College of Veterinary in 1809.
Survivors include his wife, one son, Leon Johnson, Waycross; a daughter, Mrs. R. F. Boteler, Waycross; four sisters, Mrs. W. H. Harmsen and Mrs. Harvey ulfers, both from Persia, Iowa, Mrs John Scheley, San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Harry Paulsen , Burbank, Calif., one brother John Heyde, Persia, Iowa, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were to be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock at Mincy's Chapel. Interment was in Oakland Cemetery.
