Grace was the daughter of Charley and Fannie (Eenhuis) Prull. A native of Kanawha, she attended country school and grew up here. On February 22, 1927, she married Chris Abbas in a ceremony at her parents' home. The couple farmed near Kanawha and later near Britt. In the 1940's they moved back to Kanawha, farming northeast of here. Grace enjoyed gardening and took an active interest in farming. They retired from the farm in 1976.
They were members of the Kanawha Christian Reformed Church and Chris and Grace served their church faithfully. Grace was a member of the Ladies Aid.
