Emeline married for her first husband Chauncey Munroe (Munro) (1800-1828) by whom she had 2 daughters: Julia Ann (1825-1883) and Caroline Jemina (1828-1913).

After her first husband died, Emeline married Harvey Viets and moved to Unadilla Township, Livingston County, Michigan.
