These beautiful words seemed exemplified in the Home-going of Mrs. Louise Madison Seale as her spirit slipped from its early moorings, and departed from this life on Saturday afternoon at 12:15 o'clock in her home at Flynn. Funeral services were held at her home on Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Her own paster, Rev C. E. Bullock was assisted by Rev. Milton Lewis, her former pastor, by Rev. Rhodes pastor of the Assembly of God church at Flynn, and by Rev. J. B. Davis, Methodist pastor.
The services were tenderly beautiful. Mrs. Seale's Sunday school class and the 3rd and 4th grades of school pupils, whom she had taught during the year, formed a "flower land" as they held the floral offerings as the casket was born away. Interment was in the Clear Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Seale was born Aug 7, 1891. She united with the Ephesus Baptist church at the age of 16. She was married to Mr. Chester Seale Dec 26, 1925, and two children were born to this union, Jessie Louise and John Thomas. After Mr. Seale's death about three years ago, Mrs. Seale was appointed to fill his unexpired term as county commissioner. Later she taught in the Flynn Schools.
Mrs. Seale was a devoted mother, a noble Christian lady, whose life was an inspiration to her friends. She was treated in Scott and White's hospital in Temple for a malignant trouble, but the physicians gave no hope. Mrs. Seale was a loyal subscriber to the Star and expressed her appreciation of the Bible studies on the second coming of our Savior. During her last hours she prayed "Oh, blessed Jesus, take me easy, don't let me struggle." and she slipped away as into a gentle sleep. Her Lord answered her even in death.
May the Lord she loved and served, guide her two children into useful Christian lives. The Star joins many friends in sympathy.
