Pharaba's father is James Hayden Lewis and Her husband was Jonathan James Butler who d. in Arkansas during the Civil War. Jonathan Butler was an unrepentant Reb. He was captured at Cape Girardeau and was in prison in St Louis. He was interviewed by the officials there and said he had not participated in any battles as he had been sick & in hospital almost the whole time. He was in the hospital in prison, too. They recommended he be exchanged (probably because he was sick), but don't know if he ever was or if he died there or what. He said he was a supporter of the Southern cause and wanted them to win.
