Farmer. He moved to Livermore, ME in 1791 and died there in 1844. During the Revolution he served in the Sea Forces as a privateersman and in the Naval establishment. In the latter he saw service with Commodore John Paul Jones and was captured and incarcerated in Mill Prison, Plymouth, England. He was the Great Grandfather of Elizabeth Chase, Born October 09, 1832, later known as Elizabeth Akers-Allen, the poetess, author of "Rock Me To Sleep, Mother" and other well known poems.
