She was born on Oct. 20, 1946, in Marysville, to the late Carl Hutchins and Patricia Mann Lewis. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Rockhold, and a twin sister, Sharon Hutchins.
On Oct. 14, 1995, she married Ronald Evans in Lakeview and he survives, along with a daughter, Cheryl (Jeff) Castle of Ada; two sons, Larry (Mary) Rockhold of Lakeview and Robert Lee Rockhold of Bellefontaine; five grandchildren, Robert Allen Rockhold, Carla Rockhold, Colin Rockhold, Lindsey Shirk and Conner Castle; three sisters, Marsha (Jeff) Tevis of Huntsville, Jean Ann Hutchins of Phoenix and Sandra McKinney of Pataskala; two brothers, Ray Ganson of Bellefontaine and Chuck Ganson of Columbus; a niece, Sara Tevis; and a nephew, Tanner Tevis.
Karen attended Raymond High School and worked as a barmaid and in commercial cleaning.
She was a life member of Bellefontaine FOE 2166 and Frank D. Castle VFW Post 1080 Auxiliary, both of Bellefontaine.
She enjoyed cleaning, fishing, caring for her cats, and working in her yard. Karen was a loving mother, wife, sister and grandma, who was full of life and very giving.
