Hank Tobias Siebels, 73, rural Anamosa, died early Tuesday morning, May 4. Cause of death was a sudden heart attack at his home.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 7, at 1:30 p.m., at St. Paul Lutheran church. Rev. LaVerne C. Beener will conduct the services; internment will be in Wayne Zion cemetery.
Pallbearers include Marvin Siebels, Verne Siebels, John Siebels, Allen Siebels, Leroy Siebels and Maynard Siebels.
He was born Nov.18, 1892, son of Gerrit and Anna Rieken Siebels, Jones county. He procured his education in Jones Co. schools. He was married to Maria Knake on October 19, 1922. He was a lifelong resident of Jones county. He was a World war I veteran and a member of St. Paul Lutheran church.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Elnora, Mrs. Keith Ehlers, Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Pauline Melsha, Cedar Rapids; four brothers, William, J. Henry, Rhinehard, all of Monticello and George, Amber; one sister, Anna, Mrs. Ben Wroblewski, Central City, and five grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by one sister and one brother.
