     Andrew Wohlfater died at the home of Jacob Winder in Long Lake, Saturday, and was buried in Evergreen cemetery yesterday. He was 93 years of age and was a veteran of the civil war. (Brainerd Daily Dispatch, 05 April 1910, p. 2, c. 4)

Found on the internet at Binkley's Funeral Service - Maple Creek: Obituary for Peter Wolfater, born Feb. 2, 1920 to Otto and Margaret Wolfater in Gull Lake, Sask., died in 2012. So there are still Wolfater descendents in the Maple Creek area.

In the 1900 census, Eva M. Hart, 7, is in Crow Wing Twp with her parents Renee, 36, and Elizabeth, 35, married 13 years. Elizabeth was born in Wisconsin. Since Peter has no sister named Elizabeth, Eva must be the niece of his wife, Mary. On 07/05/1887, Renee Hart married Elizabeth Coenen in Crow Wing county.

In the 1911 Canadian census, Robt Wohlfather, b. Aug 1887 in U.S. was living in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and had come to Canada in 1910.

Mrs. Fred Commans is the former Cecilia Wohlfater, so Andreas and Crescentia are the grandparents of Cecilia's children Johnnie Commans and Willie Commans.
