Found on the internet at Binkley's Funeral Service - Maple Creek: Obituary for Peter Wolfater, born Feb. 2, 1920 to Otto and Margaret Wolfater in Gull Lake, Sask., died in 2012. So there are still Wolfater descendents in the Maple Creek area.
In the 1900 census, Eva M. Hart, 7, is in Crow Wing Twp with her parents Renee, 36, and Elizabeth, 35, married 13 years. Elizabeth was born in Wisconsin. Since Peter has no sister named Elizabeth, Eva must be the niece of his wife, Mary. On 07/05/1887, Renee Hart married Elizabeth Coenen in Crow Wing county.
