Martin Van Buren's mother was Edmina Pearl Tillman.
Although Martin was a native of Wright County, Missouri, he was a long-time resident of Christian County.
He was a member of the Victory Church, and was survived by his wife, six sons, twelve grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, in addition to eleven brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held Saturday in the Chaffin Funeral Chapel at Ozark.
