Flora's parents were James Walker Moss and Lydia A.(Pickerel) Moss. James Walker Moss was the son of Henry Moss, buried in Row 24, and Henry's first wife, Nancy (Walker) Moss. Lydia died in 1879, and is believed to be buried in Oregon, Missouri.

Note: After cleaning this stone, we read a different year of death than was shown in the previous reading of the cemetery. It shows the year as "1864." The last 8 in 1868 is quite worn; however, I believe "1868" is correct. We also read a different age. The previous reading showed Flora's age as "10Y.& 2D" when it is actually "10 M. & 20 D." As with Nora's stone, this stone was also heavily caked with lichen, and it is easy to see how such differences could have been read.
