Graveside services for Lucy Kate Clements Eldridge, 84, were held Sunday, July 4, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery Addition with the Rev. Craig Little officiating and Chapman Funeral Home directing.
She died Friday, July 2, at the Medical Center Barbour. She was born Sept 28, 1925 in Columbia to the late Ben Thomas and Hattie Hutto Clements Sr. She was a member of Washington Street United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by husband Henry Brady, son Thomas Brady and daughter Lydia Kaye Eldridge.
Survivors include daughters Shirley (Jay) Johnston, Elsie (Huey) Lee, brother Ben Thomas Clements Jr, sister Betty Lou Adkins and good friend Mildred McElroy, all of Eufaula and daughters Sue (Tim) Stafford of Biloxi, MS and Mary (Ricky) Galimore of Mobile; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
