Virginia "Ginnie" DeBoe, 94, of Marion, died August 16, 2007 at Crittenden County Hospital with family by her side. She was born January 12, 1913 in Livingston County. Her parents were William Martin and Ada Campbell Asbridge. She married Elmer Clark Bashear. She later married Clavin DeBoe. He preceded her in death.
Survivors are one son, J.E. (Bobbie) Brasher of Marion, with whom she made her home the past eight and one-half years; a step-son, Calvin (Terry) Deboe, Jr. of Salem; three daughters, Mary Ruth (Jim) Manns of Metamora, Ill., Shirley Dean (Cecil) Springer of Sesser, Ill., and Linda Sue (Walt) Divellez of Fenton, Mo.; a granddaughter, Debbie Johnson was one of her main caregivers. She also leaves 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson; a sister, Ruth Stone of Marion; two brothers, Freeman (Thelma Lynn) Asbridge of Valparaiso, Ind.; J.C. (JoAnn) Asbridge of Marion; and eight nephews.
Mrs. Deboe's mother and father; an infant sister, an infant son, and two infant grandchildren preceded her in death.
Services were Saturday, August 18 at Boyd Funeral Home in Salem with Gary Brasher and Wade Brasher officiating. Burial was in Asbridge Cemetery in Crittenden County.
