Kathryn Walker Burford , 93, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away July 23, 2014 in Germantown, TN. Her great-granddaughter, Emma Grace preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 74 years, James Bernard Burford; her daughter Gayle Burford Bennett and husband Robert James Bennett; her son James Walker Burford and wife Theryn Terry Burford; sister Marie Walker Poag; 5 grandchildren, Jason, Meredith,Lauren, Michelle and Cameron; and 6 great-grandchildren.
A gathering of friends will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Brantley Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. also at Brantley Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Independence, MS. Brantley Funeral Home.
